Waterford Coronavirus Update: New Cases At Nursing Home

WATERFORD, CT — Bayview Health Care Center reported four new coronavirus cases, according to The Day. The facility previously had two cases, and one of those patients has died.

Five additional tests of patients over the weekend came back negative. All confirmed cases at Bayview have been on the facility's second story, The Day reported. Bayview's two floors have separate staffs.

Across the state, there were 1,231 more positive cases announced Monday, along with 17 more deaths and 79 hospitalizations. That puts positive cases at 6,906, the death toll at 206 and hospitalizations at 1,221. The state has tested more than 26,000 people for COVID-19.
