Waterford Football Game Canceled Due to Opponent's Suspensions

Plainfield's football team has been suspended during investigation of a sexting scandal.

A football game at Waterford High School scheduled for Friday night has been canceled for an unusual reason - the Lancers’ opponents, Plainfield, are being investigated in an apparent sexting scandal, WFSB-TV reported.

Channel 3 said a Plainfield “student who has knowledge of the situation” told them more than a dozen players recently exchanged pictures of naked high school girls in a social media group chat.

The student said at least five different girls were pictured, including a 14-year-old freshman, the station said.
