Waterford Man Arrested, Charged in Assault: Police
Police said a Waterford man and a New London man are facing charges related to an assault and subsequent chase in Mystic.

STONINGTON, CT - Police said two men are facing charges after allegedly taking part in an assault Saturday in Mystic, the Westerly Sun reported. Police said the two were also involved in a crash.
Officers arrested Jordan Ryan Hamler, 22, of Waterford, and Dakwan E. Alger, 23, of New London after allegedly taking part in an assault on Cottrell Street with three other men, according to the Westerly Sun. Police said Hamler failed a field sobriety test, the Westerly Sun reported. The assault victim and witnesses subsequently identified the subjects as two of the men involved in the assault.
