Waterford Man Sentenced In Connection With 2018 Fatal Crash: Report

A Waterford man is facing prison time after he pleaded guilty to charges tied to a 2018 fatal wreck.

WATERFORD, CT — A Waterford man faces up to four years in prison after he pleaded no contest to second-degree manslaughter charges tied to a 2018 fatal crash, The New London Day reported. Daniel P. Brockway, 34, entered the plea Friday at New London Superior Court.

Brockway was arrested in 2019 following a state police investigation and charged with second-degree manslaughter, following too closely, and reckless driving.

The crash occurred July 15, 2018 when Brockway was driving a pickup truck on I-95 in Waterford and struck two vehicles stopped in heavy traffic.
