3:28 p.m. March 4 Update

Waterford Recreation & Parks: Hello everyone, just something to help you follow when it comes to activities and the pool. Should school be cancelled due to weather, then we will be out of the schools also and will cancel anything that was to take place that day at the schools.

Just a helpful hint. So if you see Waterford Schools are cancelled then there is no AM Swim. I try to get the message on our phone by 5:30 a.m. — 860-444-5881 — so that the early swimmers can stay home. So IF we get snow tomorrow and school is cancelled, so are we.

But on a positive note, I saw on the long range forecast one day next week is supposed to be 48!!

3:20 p.m. March 3 Update:

Waterford Recreation & Parks: March 3rd evening programs are cancelled due to the impending weather. The schools are shutting down all programs and activities starting at 5 p.m., therefore we will be following their lead.

Should school be cancelled or delayed tomorrow then there would be no AM Swim. All cancellations are also put on channels 3,4 and 8. Stay safe!
