Waterford Orthopedic Practice Forced to Close After 38 Years

WATERFORD, CT – Hartford HealthCare announced last month that a local orthopedic practice would be closing after 38 years, The Day reported.

The practice is located in the Crossroads Professional Building on Parkway South, according to The Day. Four orthopedic surgeons received word from Hartford Healthcare last month that the practice would be closed Oct. 31.

Hartford HealthCare gave no reason for the closure, The Day reported. Patients, meanwhile, were advised to have their medical records transferred to one of six practices in Norwich, Niantic, North Franklin, New Haven and Farmington.
