Waterford Pizzeria Owner Helps Police Catch Oil Thieves: Report
The owner of a popular Waterford pizzeria recently stopped two people attempting to steal used cooking oil from behind the restaurant.

WATERFORD, CT – On Tuesday, the owner of Crown Pizza in Waterford stopped two people attempting to steal used cooking oil from behind the restaurant, News 8 reported. The popular pizzeria receives money for the used oil, approximately $800 each time they empty the tank it is kept in.
According to News 8, Taso Vitsas noticed the two suspects attempting to steal the oil and was able to get a description of them and their van, as well as a license plate number and the direction they were going. Police subsequently arrested the two suspects, both from New York, shortly after Vistas reported the incident.
