Waterford Police 5K Raises Money For Scholarships
Police said the event raised money for Waterford High School students to receive scholarships.

WATERFORD, CT — The Waterford Police Union took to Facebook this weekend to thank everyone who participated in the department's 5k Foot Pursuit on Saturday. According to police, the event raised money for two Waterford High School students to receive scholarships in the amount of $500 each.
Police also thanked Critical Screenprinting for donating T-shirts, Super Stop and Shop for donating water and gatorades and the Waterford Lions Club for volunteering to work the water stations on the race route.
