Waterford Police Attempt To ID Car Break-In Suspects
Police have issued a reminder to residents about storing valuables in their cars.
WATERFORD, CT — Waterford police are attempting to identify suspects in a car break-in case.
"Daytime car breaks are increasing in the state," police wrote in a Facebook post. "Purses, laptops and other valuables are being left in plain view with the doors locked. Unfortunately, it takes less than 30 seconds to pop the window and make off with your belongings. So please, please, please....lock your cars and remove all valuables from an area people can see."
The man in the photos below tried to use one of the stolen credit cards at the Groton Walmart while the two in the cars were withdrawing funds from a victim's account at a nearby bank, according to police.
