Waterford Police Attempt To ID Suspect In Theft Case

Police are searching for a suspect accused of stealing an elderly woman's credit card and using it to make fraudulent purchases.

WATERFORD, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of stealing a wallet containing credit cards from an elderly woman's shopping cart in Wal-Mart.

The suspect used the cards immediately at Wal-Mart, totaling $2,293.10, and then attempted additional purchases at the Walgreens in Pawcatuck, but that transaction was denied.
