Waterford Police Chief Retiring From Department
"I have decided it is time to move on to the next phase of my life..." — Murray Pendleton

Waterford Police Chief Murray Pendleton will retire from the department after serving the community for years.
He shared his future plans with the officers, who then informed the community via Facebook.
“As many of you may know, within the past year I purchased a home in Clearwater, Florida,” Pendleton wrote. “I have decided it is time to move on to the next phase of my life and wanted you all to know that I have chosen a tentative retirement date.

My intent will require the utilization of some terminal leave, but at the May 11, 2015, Police Commission meeting, I will be submitting an official letter to inform the Commissioners of my retirement date.
I want to thank each and every one of you for your assistance and cooperation over the past number of years.”
