Waterford Police Remind Residents Not To Pass Stopped Buses
Waterford police said they have received a number of complaints recently of drivers passing stopped school buses.

WATERFORD, CT — Police said the Traffic Office has received a number of complaints recently of drivers passing stopped school buses on Route 156 and Route 85. In these instances, the buses have allegedly been stopped with their red lights flashing and stop sign out.
In light of this, police have taken to Facebook to remind residents it is illegal to pass a stopped school bus in any direction when the red lights are flashing. The fine for passing a stopped school bus is $465.
