Waterford Police Search For 2 Suspects Accused Of $3K Theft
Police are searching for two suspects accused of stealing more than $3,000 from a Waterford CVS.
WATERFORD, CT — Police are searching for two people accused of stealing more than $3,000 from a CVS on the Boston Post Road. Police said the duo purchased gift cards and used sleight-of-hand techniques to distract and confuse the cashier.
The two also did this in a neighboring community earlier in the day as well, according to police.
Police said that when professionals are skilled at doing sleight-of-hand techniques, typically "they travel and are not always local to the area."
