Waterford Police Search For Credit Card Fraud Suspect

Police said the suspect opened multiple credit card accounts under a single victim's name.

WATERFORD, CT - Waterford Police are investigating a credit card case involving a suspect who fraudulently opened a credit card with Jared's Jewelers and fraudulently used existing credit card accounts at Best Buy and Macy’s. Police said all of the accounts were in the name of the same victim.

The suspect purchased merchandise at Jared’s, Best Buy, and Macy’s. Police said the illegally purchased items consist of a Dell 2C18 Rouge laptop, a Ring Spotlight Cam, an accessory kit for the spotlight cam, articles of men’s Polo clothing, woman’s perfume, a 14WG 7” diamond bracelet, and a 10WG diamond bracelet.
