Waterford Police Seeking Car Who Hit Mailboxes, Drove Away

Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.

WATERFORD, CT - Police are currently investigating reports of a car hitting a number of mailboxes and driving off.

Officers responded to a report of broken mailboxes in the roadway in the area of 33 Cross Road on Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. It was determined upon arrival that an older tan sedan ran off the road and collided with three mailboxes, then left the scene.

The sedan has significant front end damage and is missing the front passenger side bumper, passenger side parking light and passenger side head light. The vehicle left the scene and continued onto Route 1, traveling east.
