Waterford Police Seeking ID In Theft Case
Police are looking to identify a man accused of a theft at a gas station.
WATERFORD, CT — Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect in a theft case. Police said a man entered the Best Way gas station on Boston Post Road on Sunday, argued with an employee, then allegedly stole vapes, cigarettes, and gun.
"Before leaving he told the clerk he was a cop," police said in a Facebook post. "We think that is likely false information, but let’s see if we can identify him to be sure!"
Photos are available on the police department's Facebook page.
