Waterford Police Seize Cocaine, Forged Credit Cards During Undercover Assignment

Police said they made several arrests as a result of the investigation.

WATERFORD, CT - Officers seized cocaine, stolen credit cards and more during an undercover assignment on Friday.

Police conducting the assignment were assisted by the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force in areas surrounding the business districts within town, according to a release.

The resulting activity ended with the seizure of a large quantity of "crack" cocaine. Also recovered were several fraudulent checks, as well as forged and stolen credit cards.

Police said they made several arrests as a result of the investigation.

Officers will continue to conduct these operations throughout the holiday season, in both uniformed and undercover capacities, to ensure the safety of those that visit our community.
