The January discussion will be held virtually rather than in person.  This is a recent change.   The title for the Friday, January 28th discussion, to be held at 1 p.m., is How to be Both by Ali Smith (2015)  Passionate, compassionate, vitally inventive and scrupulously playful, Ali Smith’s novels are like nothing else. Borrowing from painting’s fresco technique to make an original literary double-take, How to be Both is a novel all about art’s versatility. It’s a fast-moving genre-bending conversation between forms, times, truths and fictions.  Multiple copies of this title are available in the library.
