Wednesday evening, December 1st at 6:30 p.m. We welcome local author and Waterford High School history teacher Ian Cheney, author of Who Made the West. By ranking 30 of the most influential people in Western history, Ian presents the pillars of civilization and an outline of history since Ancient Greece. Cheney's lighthearted footnotes contrast with the carefully accurate and poignant biographies. Mr. Cheney's books will be available for sale. Ian Cheney lives in Gales Ferry with his wife, Marinne, and their two sons.
