Do you have a favorite season? Can you think of a moment that reflects everything you love about that time of year? The snow falling. A flower blossoming. A frog jumping. The leaves bursting with color. Join poet Jennifer Y. Montgomery as she walks us through the basics of writing haiku. We will learn about the history of haiku and the pattern in each poem. Then we’ll think about our favorite season and write and illustrate our own poems!
