Waterford Municipal Historian Bob Nye will be sharing his knowledge and concerns of some of Waterford’s town-owned buildings, how they were acquired and a bit of their history: The 1936 Hall of Records and current home to Waterford Youth and Family Services; the Old Jordan School built in 1918 (the town’s current town hall); the Secchiaroli Barn built in 1923; the circa 1870 Nevins Tenant Cottage; the Jordan Park house built in 1928 and the town’s first “purpose built” library, the shuttered Cohanzie school built in 1923; and the Walnut Grove Farm, the former Hammond Estate and current home to the Eugene O’Neill Theatre.
