Waterford Student Organizes Large Donation To Animal Shelter
A high school student recently organized a donation of more than 1,200 items.

WATERFORD, CT — A group of high school students worked together recently to donate nearly 1,200 items to the Connecticut Humane Society and Waterford-East Lyme Animal Control Shelter, according to The New London Day. The effort was organized by junior Julia Cameron as part of her Capstone project.
Cameron said she chose this project due to her devotion to helping animals. Donations included dog and cat food, toys, collars, leashes and treats.
