Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. WATERFORD, CT — A Waterford woman was killed and a Stonington man was seriously injured following an accident in Pomfret on Wednesday night, according to state police. The Stonington man was driving a 1967 Triumph GT6 at 8:24 p.m. southbound on Route 169. The car ran off the right side of the road, then struck a metal beam, a traffic sign, and a tree "before coming to an uncontrolled rest down an embankment," state police said.The driver was transported via EMS air to UMass Hospital for suspected serious injuries.The passenger, Elisha Roode, 35, of Waterford, died in the accident.Police are investigating the crash.
