Waterford's 5-Day Forecast Features Fog, Rain, Cooler Temps

The biggest issue is fog that could linger into Tuesday morning's commute.

Some areas saw temperatures that hit 90 degrees on Mother’s Day. Well, we’re in for a change this week.

Things change late Monday night, with fog rolling in and staying until Tuesday morning’s commute, and then there is a chance of some showers and thunderstorms with temps in the lows 80s. The rain threat is less than 50 percent, according to the National Weather Service.

Beginning on Wednesday, it will be sunny, but temps will be hovering in the low to mid-60s until Friday, when we could hit 70 degrees.

The initial forecast for the upcoming weekend calls for a chance of rain on Saturday, only 30 percent at this time, and sunny skies on Sunday. Temperatures will struggle to hit the upper 60s next weekend.

Monday: A slight chance of showers after midnight. Widespread dense fog after 8pm. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 63. South wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday: Widespread dense fog before 9am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Light west wind becoming southwest 9 to 14 mph in the morning.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53. West wind 7 to 9 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. Northwest wind 11 to 17 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 66.

Friday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
