WHS Drama Director Taking A Leave of Absence
WATERFORDrama Director Shane Valle will take this year off for personal reasons.

Shane Valle, the director of the popular Waterford High School drama program known as WATERFORDrama, announced he is taking a year-long leave of absence for personal reasons.
The drama program will be stunted somewhat this year anyway, because the auditorium is under renovation as part of the , and won’t be open until around Thanksgiving, according to project manager Gus Kotait. Valle said he will help find an interim director for the program to put on two shows in his absence.
“Over the next couple of months I will help the school find a suitable replacement, ideally someone young and energetic, to direct both a play and a musical in our beautifully remodeled auditorium once it is complete,” Valle said in an e-mail to Patch. “I will still be around the school and look forward to seeing all of my past students in future shows.”
