Woman Arrested for DUI, Manslaughter with Vehicle: Waterford Police

WATERFORD, CT - Police said they arrested a Colchester woman charged with DUI and manslaughter Monday night.

Brianne Colonna, 27, at approximately 8 p.m. came to the Waterford Police Department, who held an active warrant for her arrest. The warrant was based on an investigation into a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on December 26, 2016, in the area of Boston Post Road and Reynolds Lane, according to a release.

The suspect was charged with Manslaughter with a Motor Vehicle, Assault with a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangerment, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs and Failure to Drive Right in a Construction Zone among other charges.

Colonna posted a $150,000 bond and was given a court date of April 5.
