2nd amendment

The second amendment is the right to bear arms. This is an extremely important attribution to the freedom that comes with being an American. As long as the correct legal procedures are followed, Americans may carry a firearm. This can help them protect themselves, protect others, and most importantly just feel safe. Criminals and murderers who misuse the right and weapon should be punished, but innocent citizens who abide by the law should not. If someone feels safer with a gun why take it away? Sure they are scary, but the people following the laws are not the people doing the crimes, they are using their weapon properly. Taking away guns would not only cause an uproar throughout most the country, but also cause many safety and constitutional issues that could otherwise be avoided.
