3 Juveniles Arrested In Car Stolen From West Hartford
They are considered suspects in two incidents which took place within minutes of each other, according to police.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Three juveniles were apprehended by police inside a stolen car FRiday afternoon, and police said they are considered suspects in a pair of incidents which occurred within minutes of each other Thursday night.
At 8:37 p.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the area of 330 North Main St. to investigate a complaint of three males who jumped into a vehicle, stole a purse and fought with the complainant. While officers were en route, a second incident was called in at 8:51 p.m., where parties matching the same description stole a vehicle at 2480 Albany Ave., Capt. Michael Perruccio said.
The initial victim, a 28-year-old woman, told police two suspects entered the backseat of her Jeep Cherokee from both sides, and a third suspect entered the front passenger seat. She was told to leave the vehicle and leave her purse., but she struggled with one suspect to keep her purse and began screaming. All three suspects then ran northbound towards Starbucks. The victim was not injured during the incident and reported nothing stolen, Perruccio said.

The second victim, a 61-year-old woman, said she had parked her Subaru Legacy in the plaza of 2480 Albany Ave. to put an item in the mailbox when she was approached by three suspects who attempted to get into her vehicle. A struggle ensued, during which the victim was hit, grabbed by the upper arms and pushed away from her vehicle. The suspects drove away in her car, last seen northbound in the plaza towards Starkel Rd. The woman sustained no injuries and refused all medical attention at the scene, but went to a hospital Friday morning for evaluation, Perruccio said.
Around noon Friday, members of the West Hartford Police Community Support Unit, working in conjunction with Hartford police and the Connecticut Statewide Narcotics Task Force, located the stolen Subaru in the McDonald’s parking lot at 1303 Albany Ave. in Hartford. Three juvenile males in the car were taken into custody without incident, with each being charged with third-degree larceny, Perruccio said.

The investigation in the case is still active, the captain added.
