There were three events around central Connecticut last weekend to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Flag Raising at Iwo Jima. One of them was at the Ct. Iwo Jima Memorial, the only one outside of DC, which you can see if you go South on Route 9 from I 84 in West Hartford.
