Amanda Elgie Launches Career as Professional Voice Artist
Local resident's projects range from commercials and audio books to e-learning and corporate narration, locally and internationally.

West Hartford resident Amanda Elgie has launched a business as a voice artist, coupling her decade of experience in formal presentations and higher education, along with a theatrical background, as the foundation for a variety of voice-over narration projects.
Elgie has already lent her voice to projects ranging from commercials and audio books to e-learning and corporate narration, locally and internationally. Her warm, friendly voice conveys brief messages and long-form narrations that are easy to listen to, effectively communicated, and leave an engaging, positive impression. She can match the voice style that a project requires, including for commercials, corporate narration, e-learning, PowerPoint narration, explainer videos, IVR/phone messages, podcast intros and outros, animation, and more.
“I am excited to work with local businesses in Greater Hartford and in Connecticut, to offer professional voiceover services,” Elgie said. “I’ve been fortunate to have worked with businesses and organizations close by and internationally, adding my voice to help advance their projects and initiatives. I truly enjoy every minute of it.”
