Native American Dancers To Provide Culture On Election Day In West Hartford
The event is being hosted by the West Hartford Public Library and First Church West Hartford on Tuesday.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Folks and families looking to take a break from American Election Day goings on Tuesday might want to treat themselves to a bit of Native American culture.
November is Native American Heritage Month and on Tuesday, Nov. 8, the West Hartford Public Library in conjunction with First Church West Hartford are teaming up to provide just that.
The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers are conducting a special live performance in First Church's auditorium from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. The church is located at 12 S. Main St., West Hartford.

This free program is for families with children of all ages and with many schools closed on Election Day because they are polling places, this event is a nice way for children to spend some time on their day off.
The Thunderbird organization is based in New York and it was founded in 1963 by second-generation Native Americans from several tribes.
