WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford community is invited to come out to the popular Gastropark early next week to eat, drink, and celebrate community spirit.
The West Hartford Greater Together Community Fund Committee is hosting its annual grant recipient celebration at Gastropark, which is located at 637 New Park Ave., West Hartford.
It will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
This event will bring together community members, grant recipients, and local leaders to celebrate the work of the West Hartford Greater Together Community Fund.
"Together, we'll highlight the impact of recent grants, strengthen community connections, and engage residents in shaping future initiatives," wrote the West Hartford Greater Together Community Fund Committee.
This year's recipients are:
• Arts for Learning Connecticut
• CT Volunteers in Psychotherapy
• West Hartford Community of Concern
The Greater Together Community Funds program was established by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, which created funds in 29 towns across our region to foster participatory grantmaking.
Each fund is led by a volunteer committee of residents, working to identify community needs, recommend grants, and encourage inclusive civic engagement.
"Thanks to this partnership, our committee can invest directly in West Hartford projects that matter most to our neighbors," wrote the committee.
We hope you'll join us for an evening of community, connection, and celebration!
