Learn To Save A Life At Narcan-Training Event In West Hartford

The free West Hartford clinic will teach participants overdose response techniques and include a Narcan kit and a $10 gift card.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Residents in West Hartford can attend a free naloxone training session on Saturday, April 25, aimed at helping community members recognize and respond to opioid overdoses.

The session will take place at the Noah Webster Library, 20 S. Main St., beginning at 11 a.m.

Participants will learn how to identify the signs of an overdose, administer the life-saving OD drug Narcan (aka Naloxone), and understand protections under the Good Samaritan Law.

Organizers said attendees will receive a free Narcan kit and a $10 gift card to Geissler's Supermarket.

Registration is required.
