WEST HARTFORD, CT — With speed enforcement cameras already slated to be installed in West Hartford, the town's Vision Zero traffic safety initiative is now looking at those motorists who run red lights.
Early next week, residents in West Hartford will have an opportunity to weigh in on the town’s proposed red-light running camera program at a public meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 28.
The session will begin at 6 p.m. at the Elmwood Community Center, 1106 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
Officials plan to review potential camera locations as part of the town’s broader Red-Light Running Safety Plan, which emphasizes public engagement in shaping the initiative.
Town officials said residents can attend to learn more about the program and ask questions.
