WEST HARTFORD, CT —The West Hartford Farmers Market will open for the season on Saturday, May 2, operating from a temporary location due to construction in West Hartford Center.
Organizers said the market will be held in the West Hartford Town Hall parking lot, 50 S. Main St., while work in the Center is underway. The relocation is expected to be temporary.
The market features products from Connecticut farms, including fruits, vegetables, maple syrup, flowers, cheese, jam, and bread.
It will run Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Dec. 10.
The market accepts benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (S/FMNP).
For updates and additional information, organizers direct residents to the market’s Facebook page.
