WEST HARTFORD, CT — If you are bored in West Hartford this Saturday, you only have yourself to blame.

• West Hartford Animal Control will hold a Rabies Vaccination Clinic for dogs and cats in the West Hartford Town Hall parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fee is $10, cash only. Please bring your rabies certificate. Dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in carriers.

• The West Hartford Farmers Market opens for the season, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Due to construction in West Hartford Center, the market is temporarily located at the Town Hall lot. The market offers fruits, vegetables, maple syrup, flowers, cheese, jam, and bread from Connecticut farms.

• Playhouse on Park presents 'The Lifespan of a Fact,'now through May 3. The blisteringly relevant comedy is based on a true story of an eager intern at a top literary magazine who must fact-check a celebrated author. For tickets, visit playhouseonpark.org.
