WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Garden Club will host its 17th annual garden tour and plant sale on Saturday, May 30, inviting visitors to explore six private gardens across town.
The self-guided event, themed “The Voice of the Garden,” will run rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Organizers said the tour is designed to encourage guests to experience gardens through “beauty, movement, and sounds” while highlighting the role of plants, pollinators, and landscape design.
The tour is open to adults and children older than 12. Pets are not permitted.
Tickets are $25 and will be available on the day of the event at St. James’s Episcopal Church, 1018 Farmington Ave., West Hartford.
Tickets may also be purchased online through the Noah Webster House or in person at Moscarillo’s Garden Shoppe, 2600 Albany Ave., West Hartford.
Organizers said online ticket purchases can be redeemed for a physical program booklet and ticket at St. James’s Episcopal Church on the day of the tour.
In addition to the garden tour, the club will hold a plant sale throughout the day at St. James’s Episcopal Church. No ticket is required for the sale.
Plants donated by club members will be available, and members will be on site to answer gardening questions and offer advice to new gardeners.
Proceeds from ticket sales and purchases will support the West Hartford Garden Club’s community programs and mission.
