WEST HARTFORD, CT — The new driving range at the Rockledge Golf Club opened Friday, May 29, offering golfers a technology-enhanced practice facility with covered hitting bays and interactive training features.
The facility opened at 8 a.m. and includes 17 covered hitting bays equipped with Trackman radar technology.
The system provides performance data and interactive applications designed for golfers of all skill levels.
According to club officials, golfers can use TrackMan to practice with detailed shot analysis, play virtual golf courses, and participate in interactive games.
The new building also houses the range's ball-dispensing machine and includes accessible restrooms.
Food and beverage service is available through Rockledge Grille via QR code ordering.
The opening marks a significant upgrade to the municipal golf facility, providing year-round practice opportunities and enhanced amenities for players.
The driving range is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The last bucket of balls is available at 7:45 p.m. each day.
Rockledge Golf Club officials encouraged residents and golfers to visit the new facility to practice, play games, and experience virtual golf using the TrackMan system.
