WEST HARTFORD, CT — Outdoor pools at Beachland, Fernridge, Kennedy and Wolcott parks are scheduled to open Friday, June 19.
The pools will remain open through Aug. 16, according to town officials this week.
Splash pads and restroom facilities have already been operating since May 23 and are open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Splash pads will remain open through Labor Day.
The town's newest aquatic facility, the renovated Eisenhower Park pool, is scheduled to open July 6.
The project includes a new zero-depth-entry pool while retaining the existing deep end.
Additional improvements include a renovated pool house, family changing rooms, accessible facilities and a handicap-accessible ramp.
Cornerstone Aquatics Center manages West Hartford's outdoor pools in partnership with the town's Leisure Services Department.
Residents interested in swim lessons or pool passes can purchase them through Cornerstone Aquatics Center or the town's RecDesk registration system.
Town officials said they look forward to welcoming residents back to the pools for the summer season.
