WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford officials are advising residents to move vehicles from Federal Street before 7 a.m. Monday, July 6, as a road milling and paving project gets underway.
The Town of West Hartford said Public Works crews began installing temporary "No Parking" signs along Federal Street on Thursday, July 2, in advance of the scheduled construction.
Officials emphasized that the temporary parking restrictions will not be enforced during the July 4 holiday weekend.
Enforcement will begin when road work starts at 7 a.m. Monday.
Residents are asked to remove all vehicles from Federal Street before construction begins to avoid being towed.
The town also plans to install additional project information signs along the street to keep residents informed as work progresses.
Town officials thanked residents for their patience and cooperation while the infrastructure improvement project is completed.
