Based on characters created by Damon Runyon, "Guys and Dolls" follows two intertwined love stories in New York City.

The musical centers on gambler Sky Masterson, who accepts a bet to romance Salvation Army missionary Sarah Brown but instead falls in love with her.

At the same time, Nathan Detroit, an organizer of illegal dice games, struggles to avoid both police and marriage to his longtime fiancée, Miss Adelaide.

The production is presented by the West Hartford Summer Arts Festival (SAF), a program that has provided performance opportunities for West Hartford high school and college students for more than 40 years.

According to SAF, the program pairs student performers with professional directors and designers from the Greater Hartford area while offering experience in acting, singing, dancing, orchestra, and technical theater.

Tickets are available through the West Hartford Summer Arts Festival's online box office.
