WEST HARTFORD, CT — One hundred two new businesses registered with the state in West Hartford in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. The most unusual entry was Novali Biosciences LLC, which registered under the biotechnology research and development category at 893 Farmington Avenue on July 9.
Two arts education filings, Karen Rock Music Studio LLC and Song Spark LLC, brought new music and fine arts schools to town. Health services, contracting and real estate filings made up much of the rest of the month.
State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
