WEST HARTFORD, CT — Municipal officials, educators, nonprofit representatives, and community leaders from across Greater Hartford will gather in West Hartford next week for a summit focused on strengthening civil discourse and civic engagement.
The Greater Hartford Civility Summit is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium.
The event, organized by the CRCOG Foundation, will feature discussions and practical strategies aimed at encouraging respectful dialogue in local communities.

Organizers said the event is intended for elected officials, municipal leaders, educators, nonprofit organizations, and other community members interested in improving civic dialogue.
The summit is being presented in partnership with Leadership Greater Hartford, the Town of West Hartford's Office of Community Engagement and the University of Hartford's Rell Center.
Registration is required, and organizers said seating is limited. A light breakfast will be served.
