The hearings are for motor vehicle assessments on the Oct. 1, 2025, Grand List, according to the town.

Appeals will be heard on a first-come, first-served basis.

The registered owner of the vehicle, or an appointed agent acting on the owner's behalf, must bring a completed application form to the appeal session.

Vehicle owners should also bring any information supporting their contention that the assessor did not base the assessment on the vehicle's original manufacturer's suggested retail price, according to the town.

Residents with questions about the Board of Assessment Appeals process can contact the West Hartford Assessor's Office at 860-561-7414.
