• Second-Half Wakeup Gives Hall Girls Soccer Win Over Northwest Catholic - We-Ha (we-ha.com) — Hall High's girls soccer team, one of West Hartford's two programs, blanked crosstown rival Northwest Catholic 4-0 after a sluggish first half and a dominant second-half surge. Senior Kyra Baun led the Titans with two goals and an assist, while strong goalkeeping preserved the shutout and set up key upcoming matchups against Enfield and unbeaten Conard.
   

• Tina Kiniry Management to Present 'THE LOOK' Fashion Event - We-Ha (we-ha.com) — A West Hartford-based modeling and acting agency is organizing "THE LOOK" fashion event and breast cancer research fundraiser on Oct. 11 at the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks. Local models, independent designers, and a survivor showcase will highlight the evening, with part of every ticket supporting Connecticut Breast Health Initiative research in-state.
