Dear Reader,

Stephanie Thomas is a fascinating, creative strong woman. Her style is sophisticated. I met her and was stunned by her speech. I wanted to hold people's thoughts just the same. She is down to earth but sophisticated. She currently holds the position of Secretary of State, elegantly.

Stephanie Thomas has maintained the importance of absentee voting/early voting importance in rural towns, including communities'/ college students. For those living outside major suburban and urban centers, casting a ballot is rarely simple as walking down the block. rural voters face distinct geographical and economic realities that can make traditional, single - day voting quite burdensome. Polling places in rural towns are often far apart, requiring long drives that demand significant time and fuel. Furthermore, limited local public transportation and unpredictable fall weather can easily jeopardize a rural voter's ability to reach the polls on Election Day.

Ensuring secure, accessible, and flexible voting options isn't a partisan issue, it is a matter of ensuring geographic equity.

Stephanie Thomas has successfully coordinated and launched Connecticut's first ever early in person voting framework. Initiated and led the implementation of new centralized voter registration system.

Stephanie Thomas has shown she is incredible and greatly admired. I'm proud to call her my role model.

Sincerely,

Katrease Rogers
