Dr. Robin Tucker Lapidus, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Psychologist has launched a private therapy practice to address the growing mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families in the greater Hartford area.
Many mental health issues, including the affects of anxiety, depression, bullying, divorce, learning problems, peer interactions, etc., arise before children enter high school and can plague an individual well into adulthood. If such concerns were addressed early and with more effective treatments, children would have a better chance of developing into successful, productive members of society.
“The best way to help individuals reach their full potential is to recognize and treat their concerns whenever possible and as early as possible, often including other family members in the process,” added Dr. Lapidus.
