Jeanmarie B. Shea Elected Secretary of The Mark Twain House & Museum Board of Trustees

Jeanmarie B. Shea, an attorney in the Individual Clients Practice Group at Robinson & Cole llp, has been elected to serve as secretary on the Board of Trustees for The Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford, Connecticut. Samuel Clemens, who wrote under the pen name Mark Twain, and his family lived in what is now The Mark Twain House from 1874 to 1891. Today, the house is a national historic landmark and the museum keeps the legacy of Mark Twain’s work and life alive. Ms. Shea was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2011 and has been serving on the Development Committee.
Ms. Shea’s practice focuses on estate and tax planning, probate, trust administration, and charitable giving. She has experience representing both individual and corporate fiduciaries in complex estate, trust, tax, and related matters involving the probate courts, the Internal Revenue Service, the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, and other regulatory authorities.
