
The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford announces its new name for the Young Adult Division – NextGen.
In efforts to engage community members who are between the ages of 22 and 45, Federation is refining its outreach methods. NextGen’s mission is to offer a variety of programs to meet others in this age range and facilitate networking opportunities with seasoned leaders involved in the Jewish community.NextGen networking programs are scheduled on the following three dates, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.:
- Tuesday, January 31, 2012
- Thursday, February 23, 2012
- Tuesday, March 13, 2012

Each evening will include time to network and a brief message about the Federation’s impact in the community. Following these winter dates, the next three networking sessions will be held in the Farmington Valley and East of the River areas.
NextGen is also hosting a Fun Night Out on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Nomad’s Adventure Quest (100 Bidwell Ave, South Windsor, CT).
