Trendowski & Allen, P.C. is pleased to announce that Andrea N. Moffitt has joined the Firm as an Associate. Attorney Moffitt is a graduate of Hall High and participated in a variety of activities in the West Hartford community. Attorney Moffitt graduated Cum Laude from Providence College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Women's Studies. She graduated from Quinnipiac Univeristy School of Law in 2012 with honors in a Family Law concentration. While attending Providence College, Attorney Moffitt spent a semester abroad at the Uniersity of Glasgow, Scotland, and a semester in Washington, D.C. in the American Univeristy Semester Exchange Program.
Attorney Moffitt has worked for Trendowski & Allen, P.A., a Centerbrook-based law firm, since 2010 while attending law school. Prior to joining the Firm, Attorney Moffitt was a Fellow with the Yale Sappern Fellowship program in New Haven Superior Court, where she assisted self-represented parties in family law matters. She also worked as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Linda Pearce Prestley in Hartford Superior Court, Family Court. Before Attorney Moffitt attended law school, she worked at Weil, Gotshal & Manges New York City office where she served as a lead paralegal on numerous high profile cases and was responsible for coordinating closings.
Attorney Moffitt's litigation practice will concentrate in the areas of family law, personal injury, insurance law, and real estate. She will also be handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, foreclosures, and debt consolidation.
